Reminders and Resources for Dog Owners in Castle Pines
We take great pride in caring for the outdoor amenities we own and manage on behalf of our community – and we want to make sure that all residents and their four-legged friends continue to enjoy them.
To ensure a safe and fun visit, we’ve complied the most relevant laws for Douglas County dog owners below.
Dogs must be on a leash when off the owner’s property, except when walking in a designated off-leash area.
Dog owners must pick-up and properly dispose of pet waste.
Dog owners must ensure that their pet doesn’t bite, chase, injure, bark or disturb anyone.
If Fido needs more room to roam, head to nearby Glendale Farm Open Space. It’s a 17-acre, off-leash dog park just down the road from our community, two miles north of I-25 and Castle Pines Parkway on S. Havana St.
If you experience any problems with an off-leash dog, please contact Douglas County Animal Control at (303) 660-7529. For more information about rules and regulations, and a map of all off-leash facilities in Douglas County, click here.
We look forward to seeing you outside!
