2026 Watering Schedule

Below is the current watering schedule information and a calendar showing the best days to water. The CPNMD board of directors recently updated this schedule and the District's planned conservation tactics.
Restrictions:
- Watering is prohibited after 8:00 am and before 8:00 pm.
- Water waste (runoff, overspray and leaks) is prohibited. Residents should use proper watering methods like cycle and soak (Water 5-10 minutes, followed by 30-60 minutes of absorption. Repeat 2-3 times).
Restriction & Watering Schedule Exemptions
Watering Schedule Exepmtions:
- Drip irrigation
- Hand-watering of trees, shrubs, and gardens are generally allowed, provided a shut-off nozzle is used.
- Irrigation system testing or maintenance
- Community sports fields (turf used for organized sports) are exempt, to the extent that additional watering may be needed to maintain a safe playing surface, or to establish new/ replacement turf.
Water Restriction Exemptions:
- Residents may water daily for new sod or plant installations. 3-week (21 day) exemption.
- Watering remains prohibited after 8:00am and before 8:00pm
- Must apply for exemption on district website
- NOT available during July or August
