Monarch Waterline Replacement – Second Part of the Project
Project: Replacement of a major 10-inch water transmission main under Monarch Parkway. The existing line is old, undersized and not easy to access for repairs. The new 16-inch pipe will be larger and located in the middle of the parkway road for easier access.
Previous Work: The first 5,900 feet of waterline replacement is finished (Castle Pines Parkway to Berganot Trail).
Work this Summer: The remaining 1,700 feet of the project begins this June 2025 (from Berganot Trail north to Buffalo Trail. The City of Castle Pines is continuing their own construction up to Winter Berry Drive).
Completion: Planned for this fall.
Impacts: The District is working with the City of Castle Pines to reroute traffic and handle any construction-related concerns. No water impacts are anticipated.
