Dan Schmick, Assistant District ManagerDan joined the CPNMD staff in 2008 as finance manager. Dan has been in field of accounting and public finance since 1992, and previously worked for the accounting firm of Clifton Gunderson focusing on special district services. Dan is instrumental in the preparation of financial documents for CPNMD renewable water resource projects, and works extensively in the preparation of the District�s operational budget. In addition to his CPA license, Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Creighton University with a major in Finance and an MBA from Regis University in Denver.
Janet Burnham, District AdministratorJanet has been with the Castle Pines North Metropolitan District since just after its reorganization in 1996. Prior to working for the District, Janet worked for eleven years as a manager in sales administration and product management for Information Handling Services. As the District Administrator, Janet is responsible for billing, customer service, payroll, tap fee administration, and other varied administrative duties. She serves as secretary to the board of directors and as the designated election official for CPNMD elections. She also serves as treasurer of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Rocky Mountain Section Customer Service Committee. Janet holds a B.A. from New York University.
Charlie Fagan, District Parks and Open Space ManagerCharlie joined the CPNMD staff in 2004 bringing with him 23 years of experience in parks, recreation and golf management. Charlie is responsible for the maintenance of the parks and open space owned by the CPNMD. He is in charge of all capital improvement landscape projects, and serves as the CPNMD representative for all other capital improvement projects. He is the supervisor of the field staff and seasonal staff. Charlie earned his Master's degree at University of Northern Colorado, concentrating on parks and recreation management.
Andrew Romano, Treatment Manager/Customer Service Field TechnicianAndrew started with the Castle Pines Metro District in September 1990, which at that time managed the utility operations of Castle Pines North. He moved over to the Castle Pines North Metro District after the utility services reorganization in 1999. Andrew oversees and supervises all field utilities including the treatment and distribution of the community�s water supply, as well as the maintenance of eight storm water ponds, which are part of the CPNMD storm water program. He serves as project manager for any well rehab projects. Andrew is in charge of field customer service for the District�s residential and commercial water meter reading program. He is also in charge of the District�s electronic radio meter reading program and meets frequently with the District�s customers in order to resolve utility usage issues. Andrew holds State of Colorado Water & Wastewater Facility Operators certifications in Class 2 Collection, Class 2 Distribution and Class C Water Treatment.
Patty Hoffman, Customer Service RepresentativePatty joined the CPNMD as a part-time staff member in June 2008. Although new to the utility industry, she has extensive customer service experience in the areas of banking and university admissions. As your customer service representative, Patty welcomes assisting customers in all aspects of utility billing, parks and community center reservations both over the phone and visitors to the office. Patty earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Sonoma State University, Califormia.
Susan Nagel, Customer Service RepresentativeSusan has worked in the customer service field for 10 years and joined the CPNMD staff in a part-time capacity in 2008. She coordinates reservations for events and meetings at the community center, as well as reservations for the District�s ball fields, park pavilions and open space. Susan is happy to assist with any customer billing questions. Susan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of South Dakota.
John Van Epps, Parks and Open Space ForemanJohn has worked in the parks and open space maintenance field for over 30 years and joined the CPNMD staff in 2001. He is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the District�s parks and open space irrigation system. In 2007 he installed and has been trained on the operation and maintenance of the District�s new central irrigation control system. He monitors daily reports generated by the system and supervises necessary maintenance and repairs to the system. John holds State of Colorado Water & Wastewater Facility Operators certifications in Class C Operators, Level 2 Distribution and Level 2 Collection.
Cory Williams, Water Distribution/Wastewater Collection ForemanCory started with the Castle Pines Metro District in September 1994, which at that time managed the utility operations of Castle Pines North. He moved to the Castle Pines North Metro District in 1999 when it assumed responsibility for its own utility operations. Cory is responsible for the operation of the CPNMD water treatment plant. He monitors the quality of the community�s water supply and conducts frequent testing as mandated by the state of Colorado. Cory is in charge of the locating services before any construction projects begin, to avoid damage to underground water and sewer lines. He attended Western State College and Metro State College. His certifications from the State of Colorado Water & Wastewater Facility Operators include: Class C Water License, Class 2 Collection and Distribution licenses. |
