Steve Labossiere Steve Labossiere comes from a military family. He was born in Spain and lived in Europe, the Middle East and throughout the U.S. Steve earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida. Early in his career, Steve and his wife Resa moved to Luxembourg to work and experience European life. After three years in Luxembourg, Steve and Resa moved to Hungary, where Steve became a founding partner of Deloitte Central Europe (“DCE”), a firm spanning 17 countries which grew to over 1,600 professionals in less than 5 years. Steve was the CFO/COO of DCE Hungary, a business exceeding $45 million in annual revenue and 350 staff. As an audit and consulting partner, Steve worked with all levels of government, large banks and companies to successfully transition them to Western business, professional and government best practices. He successfully negotiated complicated settlements, resolved disputes among government organizations and oversaw the design and execution of various business, professional and government operational reorganizations. Steve also directed significant business development, corporate governance, risk management and cost-cutting programs in dynamic and unique business environments. Working in Europe, Steve learned to listen carefully, not take anything at face value, and understand issues before making decisions. Since retiring, Steve actively manages a personal investment portfolio. Steve attributes his success to personal sacrifice, hard work and dedication. He is exceptionally motivated and results-oriented, with strong communication, analytic, and interpersonal skills. He has extensive experience in running businesses, motivating people and succeeding in challenging environments, and is a proven leader who values integrity and thrives on solving complex issues. Steve and Resa have lived in Forest Park, Castle Pines North since 2004 and enjoy hiking, camping, and fly-fishing with their two British Labrador Retrievers. In May 2010, despite a five way race, the people of Castle Pines North elected Steve Labossiere to the CPNMD Board of Directors with an overwhelming majority.
